Notes: In the constellation Cygnus, just next to the North American Nebula (NGC7000), is the emission nebula called the Pelican Nebula. It gets its name because if you take the image above and rotate it ninety degrees counter-clockwise you can make out a region that looks like a pelican's head. This is my second attempt at this target, and even though the red may seem a little overcooked I am pleased with the level of detail and general appearance. I am a little disappointed in the star colors and I need to add a spacer to get the corner stars a little better round.
