Centering EP

In your list of hardware, on page 10 of the dead-tree version of LEAP, you list for most of the more expensive options an item" "Centering EP". What is that? Erecting Prism? Eye piece?

(I'm sure that it's a foolish question, but I didn't see that item mentioned anywhere in the text.)

A centering eyepiece is an eyepiece which has some form of cross-hairs in the middle of the field of view, and is usually illuminated. This allows you to exactly center an object in your field of view for alignment.
